- Credit by Examination: Demonstrating mastery of subjects through standardized examinations or SchoolONE assessments.
- Prior Learning Assessment: Earning credit for previously acquired knowledge and skills through portfolios and other assessments.
- Professional Certifications: Recognizing industry-standard certifications, professional licenses, and other credentials as evidence of learning.
- Workplace and Vocational Training: Evaluating learning acquired through employment, apprenticeships, military training, and other structured training programs.
- Independent and Self-Directed Study: Completing academic requirements through homeschooling, independent study, online courses, and other personalized learning approaches.
- Experiential and Project-Based Learning: Demonstrating competencies developed through real-world projects, volunteer work, entrepreneurship, and other practical experiences.
- College-Level Coursework: Applying relevant college courses and dual-enrollment studies toward high school graduation requirements.
