I am so glad you are coming to my 50th birthday party, whether in-person or online. Here is some quick info to help:
Who?
I guess I'm the "birthday boy", and while sometimes l make the same dumb mistakes as I did as a child, being a half century makes it harder to have the moniker "boy". But, a party is rather lonely without others, so as important if not more you are the "who"! Because you are someone who has been part of my life in some way, maybe seems small to you, but if you got invited, then it is some meaningful way for me.
What?
It's a "birthday party" of course! But it is more than that, it is to be a reflection of my life, and while I like to think of myself as a polymath, the deepest theme of my life has been Rethinking Education. And, so the party will reflect the work that has been done to ReThink in the first 18,000 days of my life, to launch into ReEduneering what education can be, from the ground up, in the next 1,500 weeks that I hope to at least live. (Yeah I threw a curve ball at you, talking about days, and then suddenly shifting to weeks)
Where?
In-Person

Online
I have worked diligently to have the online experience of the party be as close to the in-person experience as I can get it. And also work for all my friends around the world, who may not have the best Internet connections! That is why I'm using Discord instead of Zoom, which lets you join via its app or its web interface.
